Sparked by extreme and unprecedented changes in the law, citizens turn to the streets to find some common ground and protest against recent regulations. There are two main characters being introduced in this film, 40-year old Beata Konarska, a mother of two and a successful artist and 78-year-old Malgorzata Wolynska, a proud grandmother and activist. Two incredible women who are actively changing the world and making their country, Poland, a better place for their descendants. Additionally, the documentary focuses on how the Polish government is changing the law and creating new rules that everyone is expected to abide by.

In a world where communication is paramount, language serves as the bridge that connects individuals. However, for some, this bridge remains incomplete. British Sign Language (BSL) users often face barriers in accessing information and engaging fully in society. The "Be Someone's Light" project aims to illuminate the path towards inclusivity and understanding by promoting awareness and proficiency in BSL.
The mission of "Be Someone's Light" is to empower individuals to become beacons of inclusivity and support for the Deaf community. Through education, advocacy, and practical training, we strive to foster a society where BSL is not just a language but a gateway to equal opportunities and connections.
